Who are the Tri Cities Lady Bandits?
The Tri-Cities Lady Bandits Select Softball organization is for softball players who strive for more competition than what is offered in a recreational program. This program is for experienced players who can dedicate time for weekly practices and weekend tournaments. The teams in this program will participate in Select Tournaments around the DFW area and some out of town tournaments are possible, including large tournaments such as the Colorado Sparkler, USSSA Nationals, and Oklahoma City during the NCAA College World Series. Teams are formed by approved individual teams and coaches will host tryouts for said teams. How does this program work and why is it different from recreational softball?
Lady Bandits teams will not have weekly games nor be eligible to play in the recreational division for Tri-Cities. These teams and players are also not eligible for All-Star Tournaments. Teams will practice at Chisholm Park softball fields. Lady Bandits teams will attend 6-8 tournaments a season (coaches’ discretion). Dates vary each season for tournaments, but parents and players will be notified of tournament dates as soon as they are picked by their head coach. Families need to be aware that the cost for the Lady Bandits program can be around $500 or more per season. Players will still need to register at www.tcbasesoft.com for the initial registration which covers field usage, insurance and game balls for the team. Team fees will be paid directly to the team administrator or head coach. Team fees will be used for uniforms, tournaments and other needed items to complete a successful season.

Additional Information:
*If a player does not make the Lady Bandits team, she is eligible to be on a TCBSA recreation team.
*Coaches do not get paid for their service; we are a volunteer organization.
*All coaches, parents, and players will be held accountable to follow the TCBSA Code of Conduct during practices and tournaments. Anyone who does not follow the TCBSA Code of Conduct can be asked to leave TCBSA and will not receive a refund for any fees that were paid up to that time.
Who can try-out for the Select Softball Program?

-16U

Players who are interested to try-out should consider the qualifications listed below:
-Have 2-3 seasons experience playing softball
-Can dedicate time to weekly practices and weekend tournaments
-Have All Star experience and/or tournament experience
-If selected for a Lady Bandits team, players cannot play for another recreational team.
